What is Aqiqah, and why is it important?
Aqīqa (Arabic: العقیقة) is the tradition of slaughtering animals seven days after one's baby is born in order to protect the baby from possible sufferings and troubles.
What is the recommendation for the animal?
It is recommended that a male animal be slaughtered for a boy baby and a female animal slaughtered for a girl baby.
What type of animals do you use?
We sacrifice healthy, halal-certified sheep or goats that meet Islamic requirements (free from defects, mature enough). Photos of the selected animal are provided before slaughter.
